This year’s award recipients are as follows:
- Legislator of the Year Award: Senator Don Humason, In recognition of his support of issues concerning sportsmen and sportswomen in the State Legislature
- Words of Wisdom Award: Gene Chague, In recognition of his efforts to inform, educate, and promote issues for sportsmen and sportswomen through his column for the Berkshire Eagle
- Mentor of the Year Award: Astrid Huseby In recognition of her work providing information and education for the youth of Massachusetts, with the National Archery in the Schools Program being available state-wide
- Sportsperson of the Year Award: Wayne MacCallum, a retired MA Wildlife Director, in recognition of his work promoting and partnering with the League for area sportsmen and sportswomen
- Hall of Fame Inductee: Rosemary Charron, In recognition of lifelong leadership and passion for sportsmen and programs in Worcester County, for a list of all inductees over the years: http://www.wclsc.org/hall-of-fame.html
- Farmer/Landowner of the Year: Will Rogers In appreciation of his preservation of land, providing wildlife habitat and recreation to sportsmen and sportswomen, at the Will Rogers Farm in Warren MA.
