William Tell 2019

WCL is very thankful for all the archers, parents, coaches, volunteers, and clubs who made 2019 an improved year for more archers to shoot more and more clubs to be part of the William Tell Youth 3D Archery Program.
The six clubs hosting this year were
  • Norco Sportsman's Club,
  • Shirley Rod and Gun Club,
  • Uxbridge Rod & Gun Club,
  • Century Sportsman's Club,
  • Spencer Fish & Game Club, and
  • Marlboro Fish & Game Association.
Throughout the season, from May to July, over 30 archers made an appearance.  Archers, ages 16 and under, have access to the hosting clubs 3D range to shoot 15 targets.
WCL hopes to increase the number of hosting clubs in 2020, given the number of 3D ranges in the league. Clubs with youth programs tend to have more shooters turn-out and coupling a shoot on a day with other club/youth activities taking place.

William Tell 2018

The WCL William Tell 3D Youth Archery Program is a new 2018 youth program. The program augments the Kids Day Program and the Young Guns Program.    The William Tell program is geared to youth shooters age 16 and under, to shoot at 3 or more host sites, and have fun.  Each shoot has 15 3D targets and there is no fee to shoot. Each shoot starts at 1:00PM, rain or shine.  WCL is providing awards for top score of the day for archers for 12 and under, and for 13-16.  WCL will have end of season awards for best season scores and most improved archer. Each host club has also provided food and beverage for archers, showing their league hospitality.

The 2018 schedule is as follows:
  • May 5th Century Sportsmans Club in Auburn
  • May 12th Norco Sportsman’s Club in Princeton
  • June 2nd Spencer Fish and Game
  • June 9th Auburn Sportsmans Club
  • June 17th Marlboro Fish and Game
