Overview of Young Guns Youth Trap Competition Program . The main goal of the program is to engage youth to participate in outdoor sports. There is a gap between a youth with interest and formal youth ATA/competition leagues, as to how does one get started and not become obligated to a team and a season. Most Young Gun qualifier clubs offer training and mentoring programs for new shooter. The Young Guns competition program is conducted as an informal county program, not as a sanctioned and regulated competition affiliated with a national shooting body.
